Henry William Peter Falk, “Hank”, AKA “Jack Pine Savage”, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 22, 1950, in Adams, Wisconsin.

Hank excelled in sports throughout his life. In high school, he played baseball, football and wrestled, earning the Adams-Friendship Senior Athlete award. He also played football at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse as the quarterback.

He was a lifelong, avid golfer and a member of the Orchard Hills Country Club, Stone Oak Country Club and Pawley’s Plantation Golf and Country Club.

After his college graduation, Hank joined La Crosse Rubber Mills as a regional sales manager and soon became the national sales manager.

An entrepreneur at heart, Hank owned shoe stores, a department store and entered the car business, all in the Columbus area. In the mid 1980’s, he purchased Casebere Motor in Edgerton, Ohio and relocated his dealership to Bryan, Ohio.

Hank built strong friendships with his customers, employees and his many golf buddies, but was most proud of his family and his dog, Pawley.

Hank and Kayln married on January 1, 2001, and worked together in the dealership until retiring to the Columbus area in 2021 to enjoy the lake life.

Some of Hank’s favorite sayings were, “always play from the tips”, “what is the difference between success and failure?” and “I did it my way”.

He is survived by his spouse, Kayln Ford Falk; children, Jason T. (Kyoko) Falk of Woodinville, Washington, Amy J. McDermott of Gahanna, Ohio, Travis J. (Erica) Falk of Columbus, Ohio, Ashleigh E. (Zach) Moore of Lakewood, Ohio, Nichole F. (Parker) Schiffer of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Drew, Kamryn, Trey, Niko, Charlie, Kingston, Carter McDermott and Kaito Falk; great-grandchild, Tru McDermott; siblings, Karen (Denny) Sprowls, Conrad (Mary) Falk, Brenda (Robert) Volp, Rick (Mirriam) Falk and Colin (Kaoru) Falk; sister-in-law, Judy Congrove; brother-in-law, James Ford and his dog, Pawley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Dorothea (Graham) Falk and grandson, Markhis McDermott.

Per Hank’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.

Memorial contributions in memory of Hank may be made to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Their compassionate care and support brought great comfort during the last chapters of his life.
