Gerald Moritz

Private family services will be held at a later date for Gerald Allen Moritz, 51, of Alexandria, who died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at his residence.A lifelong dairy and grain farmer in the Alexandria area, Jerry was born June 11, 1961, in Columbus, the son of David and Mary Jean Moritz of Florida. He was a 1979 graduate of Northridge H.S. and Licking Co. J.V.S. with a diploma in Ag Mechanics. He enjoyed hunting, firearms and working on all things mechanical.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons Aaron and Christopher of Alexandria; his sisters Jeanne Gabor, Jan Butler, Marti Cook and Jill Baum; along with his many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his brother Tommy.His remains will be interred on the family farm.Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Moritz family.
