Frankie Lea Horn, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on October 15, 1941, in Calf Creek, Kentucky, to the late Eli and Anna (Horn) Crum. Frankie lived a life enriched by family, friendship, and love.
Known for her warmth and generosity, Frankie was passionate about fishing and crocheting, both activities providing her with much joy and relaxation. She was always eager to lend a helping hand, stitch together a warm blanket, or find the perfect fishing spot.
Frankie was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, William Earl (Virginia) Horn, Cecil Ray (Darlene) Horn, Edward Lee Horn, Ella Lea (James D. II) Kincaid, and Lowell J. (Tracy) Horn. Her legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren, Cecil Allen Horn, Martin Horn, William Joseph Horn, John Eli Horn, Cali Paige Miller, Nicole Lynn Eddy, Mandy Ross, James Donald Kincaid III, Benjamin Horn, and Michael James Horn; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way. Her family was the central pillar of her life, and she found immense pride and fulfillment in being a mother and grandmother. Frankie is also survived by her brother, Bascum (Ruth) Crum; one of her partners in crime, Ann Wallace, along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eloise Endicott, James (Dottie) Crum, Loretta Branham, Patty Crum and her other partner in crime, Norma Vance.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville, Ohio, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the York Street Cemetery.
To honor Frankie’s memory and love for nature, her family kindly requests that a tree be planted in her name. The Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Frankie and her family during this time of remembrance and celebration of her life.
