Frances Kay Gansor

Frances Kay Gansor, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her home in Thornville, Ohio. She was 80 years old.

She was born on December 12, 1944, in Waltersburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter to the late John and Virginia(Hahn) Black.

Kay was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Buckeye Lake 2801 and the Buckeye Lake Moose Lodge 2434.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Gansor; children, Lori (Kevin) Tope and Jon (Doris) Gansor; grandchildren, Tess and Corey; great-grandchild, Lilly; sister, Wanda (Henry) Oplinger, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kay was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenny Gansor and brothers, Jim, Sam, Ronald, and David Black.

Per the wishes of Kay, there will be no services.
