Drew Alan Spalding

Drew Alan Spalding, age 63, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home. Drew was born November 1, 1954 in Newark, Ohio to the late John L. and Lillian G. (Van Way) Spalding.

Drew retired from Usher Transport and was a member of the 700 Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who have fond memories of popcorn fights, letting his little granddaughter do his hair and helping Ryder with his truck.

He is survived by his life partner and soulmate, Renee Burden; his grandchildren, Bella, Ryder and Riley; and many extended family members.

A private celebration of Drew's life will be held at a later date.
