Dorothy Irene Stock

Dorothy Irene Stock, 91, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026, after a brief hospital stay. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed.

Dorothy was born on October 13,1935 to the late William and Ena (Ulry) Pool. She was the Valedictorian of the 1953 graduating class at Summit Station, where Dorothy met her surviving husband of 68 years, Ralph (Dan) Stock, Jr. She is also survived by her two children: Michael (Cathy) Stock and Cynthia (Scott) Sundberg; her four grandchildren: Samantha (CJ) Schmitz, Brit (Elizabeth) Sundberg, Matthew Sundberg, and Erin Sundberg; her two great grandchildren: Poppy Schmitz and Jack Sundberg; her nieces: Cathy Wine and Cheryl Murphy; her great nephew: Cory (Taylor) Murphy; special family friend, Margaret Tubaugh.

Dorothy was proceeded in death by her sister and brother in-law, Catherine and Thomas Wine.

Dorothy was a member of the Outville Presbyterian Church where she was known for baking delicious pies, cookies and breads.

Family and friends can gather for a graveside service at 11:00 am at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Outville Presbyterian Church.
