Donald E. Morrow Sr., a cherished father, loving partner, and respected community member, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Newark, Ohio at the age of 76 years old.

Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on a crisp Friday, January 7, 1949, Donald was the beloved son of the late James Morrow and Mary S. Jones. He was preceded in death by his siblings Mattie Pearl Jones, his twin brother Ronald James Morrow, Manuel Lester Morrow, and Barbara D. Hall, all of whom he deeply cherished.

A devoted engineer, Donald dedicated over 25 years to Buckeye Steel, where his commitment and skill left a lasting impact. His professional journey was marked by his expertise and profound dedication, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike.

Donald was a man of many talents and interests. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post #85 in Newark and served as a Former Grand Master with the Newark Masonic Lodge. Additionally, he enjoyed his time as a member of Temple #551 Elks Lodge in Newark. Known fondly as "Doctor Love," he brought warmth, humor, and joy into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Donald's passion extended beyond engineering. As an enthusiastic outdoorsman and painter, he found peace and inspiration in nature. He also had a keen talent as an auto mechanic, running his own business, "Busted Knuckle Garage." Whether fishing or telling a favorite joke, Donald's lively spirit and unwavering kindness endeared him to all.

Donald leaves behind a loving and large family, including his significant other, Aliscia Hill; his devoted children, Charice Morrow, Donald E. (Tanisha) Morrow, Jr., Charles (Cara) Morrow, James Morrow, and Sparkle Hill; his treasured siblings, PearlieMae (Alvin) Hargro, Georgia M. Jones, and Louis B. Morrow. His legacy carries on through his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will forever hold his memory dear.
