It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianna Trapp, a beloved wife, aunt, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home in Pataskala, Ohio. Born on Thursday, May 18, 1950, in Whitley County, Kentucky, Dianna lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and community.
Dianna was the devoted and loving wife of William "Bill" Trapp, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. Their journey together began on August 21, 1971, and has been an inspiration of enduring love and partnership. Dianna and Bill made their home a warm and welcoming place for their extended family, including their cherished nieces and nephews: Andrea, Frank, Gary, Vonda, Doug, Janel, Troy Robert, Jason, Shelley, Tina, Shawn, Sharlotte, Jimmy, Mike, Tommy, Laura, Ann Marie, Joe Jr., Mark, Angie, and Frank Jr. Dianna is also survived by her dear Aunt Barbara Lee, and sisters-in-law, Sandy Lee and Carol Lindberg, along with many great nieces and great nephews.
Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Edward Lee and Martha Lee, and her brothers, Edward "Eddie," Tommy, Troy, Roy, and Danny. Despite these profound losses, Dianna remained a pillar of strength, selflessly dedicating her life to her loved ones.
As a homemaker, Dianna poured her heart into her beautiful home and garden, creating a sanctuary for family gatherings and celebrations. Her interests were as varied as they were joyful, including making ceramics, gardening, cooking, fishing, and crocheting. Her talent and passion for these activities made her home a true haven for friends and family, especially around her beloved pool.
Dianna's family wishes to express their gratitude to the Hospice of Central Ohio for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dianna's memory to this dedicated organization.
A graveside service will be held to honor and remember Dianna's remarkable life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at Kirkersville Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a woman who brought light and warmth to all who knew her.
The Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Dianna and her family during this difficult time.
Dianna’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
