Diana Lee Anderson

A funeral service celebrating the life of Diana Lee (Blevins) Spires Anderson, age 59, of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Diana was born June 1, 1967 in Newark, Ohio. She passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the home of her mother surrounded by her family. Diana was raised Baptist and was baptized. A homemaker, Diana loved spending time with her Mom and Roy, and spoiling her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious meatloaf, tater tot casserole, omelets, and stuffed peppers. She also enjoyed playing games and fishing.

She is survived by her significant other, Roy Charles Wood, Jr.; her mother, Freda (Montgomery) Blevins; three sons, John Michael Spires, Jr. (Nicole Small) of Fallsburg, Jeramy Michael Spires (Kaitlin Howe) of Buckeye Lake, and Raymond Lloyd Anderson of Newark; grandchildren, Jacob Spires, Hailee Spires, Axel Spires, Arayah Spires, Tytan Spires, and Zaydian Spires; brother, Robert Junior “Bob” (Kathy) Blevins of Hanover; nephew, Brian Blevins; great-nephews, Brian and Brayden Brillie; and great-niece, Chloe; aunts, Francis Haynes of Portsmouth and Wanda Abbott of Rushville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Blevins, Jr.; niece, Tonya Marie Blevins; and great-niece, Kelsey Blevins.
