A memorial service celebrating the life of Deloris Marie Marquart, age 72, of Hebron, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street, Kirkersville.

Deloris was born March 28, 1954 in Kensington, Ohio to the late George and Rita (Kelly) Bryan. She passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

A 1974 graduate of Carrollton High School, Deloris was a nurse’s aide at Pine Kirk Nursing Home for several years. She was of Catholic faith and was raised in St. John Catholic Church, Summitville, Ohio, where she was married. She later attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Buckeye Lake. Deloris loved Christmas and decorating for the holidays. She collected many figurines. An avid flower gardener, Deloris tended 15 flower beds at her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ronald D. Marquart, whom she married November 23, 1985; daughter, Rhonda M. Marquart of Thornville; brothers, Earl (Tonya) Bryan and Bill Bryan, all of Carrollton; sisters, Donna (Ronnie) Edie and Ellen (Scott) Rutledge, all of Carrollton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and her beloved dogs, Rocky and Annie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond, Leonard, and John Bryan; and sisters, JoAnn Burns and Eileen Roberts.
