Deborah A. Edgar

Deborah Ann “Debbie” Edgar, age 72, of Heath, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born December 20, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Albert and Eva (Evans) Gyure.

Debbie was a hairdresser for 52 years. She enjoyed golf, bowling, and working outside on her landscaping. She also enjoyed cooking and loved to entertain, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Debbie was a very loving and accepting person.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Carrie) Edgar of Bristow, Virginia, Dan (Jennifer) Edgar of Richmond, Kentucky, Sheri (Tommie) Sauer of Canal Winchester, Sheila Hively (Phillip “Terry”) McBride of Grove City, Amy Edgar of Atlanta, Georgia, Chrissy (William) Reeves of Dadeville, Alabama, and Debbie (David) Dotson of Seattle, Washington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Leach of Newark; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Granville Edgar, on May 21, 2024; and by a brother, Albert R. Gyure; and a sister, Sue Gyure.

At her request, no service will be observed.
