David Lee Goodin

A celebration of life service for David Lee Goodin, 69, of Heath, Ohio, will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Burning Tree Golf Course clubhouse banquet room, 4600 Ridgely Tract Rd. SE, Newark, where food and beverages will be provided. All Covid-19 restrictions need to be followed with masks and social distancing. David passed away on February 24, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on March 27, 1951 to the late Harold Goodin and Ruth (Floyd) Redman. Prior to retirement, David was a concrete mason for many years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his loving family and friends. Survivors include his step-mother, Shirley Goodin; children, Phillip S. (Margie) Goodin, Andrea Goodin, Tommy Kurtz and Trisha (James) Ewing; grandchildren, Kelsey Goodin, Kevin Goodin, Alexia Goodin, Konnor Goodin and Trinity O’Brien; brothers and sisters, Bernie (Colette) Goodin, Barb Ogilbee, Larry (Jerri) Goodin, Kathi (Thurman) Hay, Lee Redman, Mark Redman, Fred Redman and Curt Redman; loving dog, Cutie Pie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Goodin. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for David and his family.
