Cynthia Ann Deal

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Deal, age 63, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Cindy was born February 5, 1960 in Newark, Ohio to the late Romeo L. and Anna Jane (Kean) Deal. She was formerly employed by Oasis in Columbus and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting.

She is survived by her husband, Kelly Messer, Jr. of Utica; a son, Michael Eblin (Daniel Givens) of Columbus; daughter, Crystal Neal of Columbus; grandchildren, Nicholas Stuebs and Morgan Neal; brothers, Robert (Brenda) Deal of Newark and Phillip Deal of Newark; sister, Deb Deal (Christy Whalen) of Newark; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Deal, Stephanie Noland, Anna Deal, David Yester, Quinten Deal, and Ammy Jo Deal.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Deal; and by a nephew, Romeo Deal.

The family will observe a private gathering.
