Cynthia “Cindy” Cunningham, age 77, of Fallsburg, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Morrison House (Genesis Hospice) in Zanesville. She was born January 19, 1948 in Newark, Ohio to the late Bernard Francis and Jennie Pauline (Livingston) Sullivan.
Cindy enjoyed camping with her husband, doing ceramics with her friends, and was a huge Tony Stewart fan.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe; daughter, Lisa (Ernie) Alexander of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Heather Davis, Caitlin Davis, Mykaela (Mackenzy) Shultz, Skylar (Kaitlyn) Novaria, all of Zanesville, and Brandyn (Mark) Davis of Phoenix, Arizona; eight great-grandchildren, Kaveion, Ryleigh, Jett, Rowan, Radlie, Mykel, Rae Lynn, and Luke; a sister, Sheila Sullivan of Columbus; special friends, Tom Brown, Mike and Bonnie Scott, and Joey Stevens; and a special nephew, Jeff Rine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Sullivan; sister, Jacqueline Sullivan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Cordelia Cunningham; and an uncle, Everett Livingston.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Adams Lane and the staff of Morrison House for their excellent care of Cindy.
At her request, no visitation will be observed.
A private graveside service and a celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date.
