Constance M. Kreager

Constance "Connie" Mae Kreager, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on September 27, 1949, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Kathleen (Williams) and Thomas Cooper, Sr.

For 32 fulfilling years, Connie dedicated her professional life working for the State of Ohio. She was an ardent lover of horses and animals, passionately participating in the Ohio Horseman's Council and several other horse and driving clubs. She found joy in oil painting, gardening, and flowers.

Connie was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She balanced her various pursuits with her greatest passion: her family. While she deeply loved all her family, her grandchildren were always her top priority, and her pride in them was palpable.

She is survived by her children, Allen (Ashley Bernan) Kreager and Katherine Lionetti; grandchildren, Violet, Ethan, and Levi Kreager; brother, Mark (Leslie) Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Phil Cooper, and her special friend, Sally Combs.

Family and friends may call on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St., Thornville, Ohio, from 11:00am until the time of funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Doug Lynn Officiating. Burial to follow in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
