Connie is survived by her loving husband, Harold Eugene Fry, who she joyously married on September 19, 2019. She leaves behind her cherished son, Jesse Ahlrich, and her beloved brother, Bubba (Amy) Schroeder. She was a proud and affectionate aunt to her nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many who were touched by her gentle spirit and generous heart.

Connie was predeceased by her father, Arvin E. Schroeder, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the peace that lies beyond.

For many years, Connie was a dedicated bartender at numerous establishments, where she made countless friends and was known for her lively personality and genuine care for others. She was a woman of strong faith, a devoted Baptist, and found joy and solace in her spiritual beliefs.

In her leisure time, Connie delighted in crafting, spent peaceful hours absorbed in jigsaw puzzles, and brightened every room with her love for country music. Her creativity and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence.

Connie's family has entrusted Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Newark with her care.
