Christine D. Johnson

Christine D. Johnson, a beloved resident of Newark, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on Sunday, March 28th, 1965, in Newark, Ohio, Christine spent her life surrounded by family and friends in the community she loved.

A devoted homemaker, Christine was known for her love of playing pool, bingo, fishing, and drawing, activities that brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Christine is survived by her son, Jeremiah F. Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Tabatha) Johnson, Butch (Shari) Wright, Robert D. Johnson, and Johnny (Chrissie) Johnson. Her legacy lives on through her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished her kindness and vivacity.

Christine was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jimmy and Mable Johnson, her brother, Richard Wright, and her sister, Lisa Woods. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with them in peace.
