Charles M. "Chuck" Goble

Charles M. Goble, a beloved resident of Hebron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on Thursday, June 5th, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, Charles, fondly known as Chuck, led a fulfilling life dedicated to family, community, and passion for his interests.

Chuck poured his heart and expertise into his role as Vice President of Communications at Grange Mutual Insurance Company, where he served with distinction for over 30 years. His commitment to effective communication and leadership left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry.

A devoted member of Thornville Trinity United Church of Christ, Chuck was also actively involved in several organizations, including the Groveport Country Club, Harbor Hills Country Club, Buckeye Lake Moose Lodge, and Thornville Amvets Post #51. His love for golfing, boating, and attending classic car shows, often accompanied by his son Chad, was well known. A passionate Ohio State Buckeye fan, Chuck cherished time spent cheering on his favorite team.

Chuck's legacy is carried on by his loving wife of 61 years, Judy E. (Miklos) Goble, whom he married on December 24th, 1963. He leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law, Chad M. and Brenda Goble, and his cherished grandchildren, Kellan (Eve) Goble and Mia Goble. He is also survived by his sisters, Marlene Work and Dianne Goble; brother, Bob (Yolanda) Morrow; nieces, Melissa and Michelle; and a host of dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Esta Goble. Chuck will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Chuck's remarkable life at a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at 10:30 am at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, located at 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville.  Burial will follow in Obetz Cemetery.

 A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
