Charlene A. Parker

A funeral service celebrating the life of Charlene A. Parker, 72, of Newark, will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Charlene was born in Licking County, Ohio on September 24, 1949 to the late Raymond L. and June L. (Stewart) Parker. She passed away at Hearth Brook Assisted Living in Newark on December 21, 2021. Prior to retirement, she worked for Lucent Technology for over 30 years. She was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ. Charlene enjoyed traveling around the USA, flower gardening, mushroom hunting and spending time with her loving family. Survivors include her brothers, Bill (Sandy) Parker, Richard Parker, Ken (Sue) Parker, Carmen (Linda) Parker and John (Alisha) Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Parker. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Charlene and the Parker family.
