Carolyn Sue Wright

Carolyn Sue Wright, age 76, of Newark, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Carolyn was born September 1, 1949 in Lancaster, Ohio. She retired from the OEA Teachers Union where she was a secretary.

She is survived by her loving son, Richard Allen “Rick” Hupp; a brother, Michael W. Yantes; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Warren Yantes and Barbara Ellen (Ellis) Yantes Melton; and by her husbands, Dale A. Hupp and Richard E. Wright.

At her request, no service will be observed.
