Carolyn Sue Breese

Carolyn Sue Breese, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on August 28, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late, Walter Elden and Mary Margaret (Dayberry) Cordle.

Throughout her life, Carolyn was passionate about many interests. She was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and a devoted fan of Elvis Presley. Carolyn recently became a fan of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Above all, she found her greatest joy in spending quality time with her grandchildren and family, making numerous cherished memories along the way.

Carolyn's life was marked by her devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Samantha (Kevin) Clark; her treasured grandchildren, Thomas (Victorria) Clark and Elizabeth (Kyle) Rothe; and her precious great-grandchildren, Michael and Jayce Clark, and Rylan, Ayden, and Tabatha Rothe; her brother, Michael Cordle, and son-in-law, Daniel Clark; her friend, Robert Patton and her loyal dog, Cubby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Tabatha Clark and Tammy Chadwick, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

Carolyn's family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life at a later date.
