Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carol was known for her generous spirit and vivacious personality. She spent her career holding various jobs, ultimately retiring from Walmart, where she worked in the Accounting Office.
An avid gardener, Carol found joy in tending to her beautiful flowers, and she shared her passion for nature with those around her.
Carol's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, whether it was on memorable vacations to her favorite place, West Gate Resort in Florida, during cherished Friday family pizza nights, or going out to breakfast and dinner with them. She adored her grandchildren and they brought immense joy to her life.
Her creativity shone in her skills as she enjoyed beading and making jewelry and as a decorator, with a talent for wallpapering that extended to several commercial projects in the area. Carol was always eager for conversation, ready to engage in lively discussions with friends and family alike. She also enjoyed working puzzles, playing cards, and movie night with the “girls”, activities that provided hours of enjoyment.
Known for her unwavering support, Carol was a fierce defender of those she loved, always standing up for them when needed.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family: sons, Kevin Ault (fiancée Tammara Stricklett), Kelly (Terri) Ault, and Kim Ault; grandchildren, Robert, Rachel, Rianne, Kaleb, Katelyn, Kameron, Kristyn, and Wyatt; several great-grandchildren; step-father, Pastor Robert Simpson; a brother, Alan Trickle; sisters, Linda (Robert) Meyer and Connie Simpson; nieces and nephew, Tiffany Gordon, Alvina Allbaugh, and Dwane Meyer; great-niece, Sarah Meyer; and great-nephew, Nick Meyer.
