Carol Ann Davis, a life-long Newark resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Altercare South.

Carol was 89, born on February 28, 1937 to the late Russell H. and Ruth M. Smith. Her grandson, Christopher Jones, also preceded her in death.

Carol attended Newark High School, worshipped at Cox United Methodist Church, and worked at Hills for many years.

Carol is survived by her two children, a son Jerry (Debbie) Davis and daughter Ruth Ann Smith, two grandchildren, Crystalyn (Darrell) Smith and Joshua Davis, and several great-grandchildren.
