Bruce Forrest Johnson

Bruce Forrest Johnson, age 63, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Bruce was born May 3, 1961 in Newark, Ohio to the late Kenneth Wesley and Mary Jane (Bebout) Johnson.

Bruce was a forklift operator at THK and was a member of the Newark Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, boating, playing the guitar, fixing up old cars, and loved his dogs.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Chase Fadley of Newark; a brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Rhonda Johnson of Nashport; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Gary Messina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Charlotte Johnson.

The family will observe a celebration of Bruce’s life at a later date.
