It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brenton Anthony Marlo I, 58, of Hebron, Ohio. He was born on December 21, 1967, and departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, after battling cancer.
Tony lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, marked by his love for the great outdoors, passion for fishing, and enthusiasm for arrowhead hunting. He was an avid player of Pokémon GO, reaching an impressive level 73, a testament to his determination and zest for life. Tony was known for always giving his all, living by the creed of giving 100% in everything he pursued. Tony adored spending time with his children and grandchildren! He was a very special person to so many people. He had many friends whom he considered to be his family. Family meant everything to him! He was a tireless worker who took immense pride in providing for his family, always putting their needs above his own.
Tony is survived by his lifelong partner, Robin Hicks; children, Brittany Marlo, Brenton (Rayonna Williams) Marlo II, Zachary (Sierra Sterling) Marlo, Brandon Hager, Jessica Bailey, Jasmine Murphy, and Kaylee Murphy; step-children, Nate (Beth) Hicks and Allison (Dean Bowman) Hicks; grandchildren, Braxton Skaggs, Zariah Marlo, Arionna Cody, Elias Hammond, Abigail Miller, Esmeralda Miller, Mikey Blackburn, JJ Plummer, and Penelope Plummer; siblings, Anna (Dale) Montgomery, Heidi (Kenny Linscott) Woodgeard, Gary Marlo, Theodore "Teddy" (Angela) Marlo, Shawn Marlo, Marla Marlo, Dustin Westfall, and Mike Marlo; Uncle Brent (Tammy) Martin; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and his best friends, Edward Todack and Chris (Chrissy) Darling, and Leslie Willis.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda F. Engle (Martin); granddaughter, Ophelia Williams; aunt, Theodora "Janie" Perrine, and uncle, Theodore Martin.
Family and friends may gather to celebrate the life of Tony on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Hebron chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th St., Hebron, Ohio, from 4:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 5:00pm. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
