Bonnie Lou Jackson, a beloved resident of Newark, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in the quaint town of Granville, Ohio, on December 14, 1932, Bonnie was the cherished daughter of the late Otto Lee and Rose Dixon.
Bonnie dedicated her life to being a homemaker, nurturing her family with love and warmth. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert E. Jackson, her beloved daughter, Kim Jackson, and numerous brothers and sisters, who have all welcomed her into eternal rest.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her two sons, Randy (Kathryn) Jackson and Roger (Karen) Jackson, as well as her treasured great-grandson, Jackson Courtney. Bonnie was also surrounded by a wide circle of friends who will miss her dearly.
Bonnie had a passion for simple joys. She found delight in reading the newspaper, tending to her garden, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. A true sports enthusiast, she was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty.
A graveside service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held at Newark Memorial Gardens in Newark, Ohio, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory.
