Beverly Kay Klein

Beverly Kay Klein, age 77, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at her home. Bev was born July 21, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Foster Floyd Roberts and the late Mozelle Annie (Bishop) Roberts.

Bev retired from the Anomatic Corp. in 2017. She loved to socialize and was a member of the Newark Eagles. Bev loved animals, especially dogs, birds, and horses. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers.

She is survived by three sons, Gary L. Hayes of Zanesville, Richard (Kristina) McMullen of Springfield, Tennessee, and Ronald D. McMullen of Newark; grandchildren, A.J., Christopher, Andrea, Sheilby, Josh, Shane, Shayla, Heaven, Chloe, Susan, Harley, Sofia, and Gunner; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Madyson, William, Addison, and Dawson; a sister, JoAnn Caruso of Sacramento, California; step-children, Edgar “Ricky” Nieves, Georgette Berkshire, Peggy Rodman, and Richard Klein, Jr; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Henry Klein, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Susan Hayes; brother, Gary Lee Roberts – United States Marine Corps Vietnam; and sister, Helen Ann Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Inurnment will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
