Betty M. Milligan

Betty M. Milligan, 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, in Heath, Ohio. She was born in Crooksville, Ohio.

Betty was a devoted homemaker whose kitchen was always filled with the comforting scents of her culinary delights. She was renowned for her exceptional baking, especially her pies. Beyond the kitchen, Betty found joy in gardening. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her love of bowling, where she was known as an expert bowler. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 597 in Hebron, and was admired for her unwavering commitment and service.

Betty is survived by her children, Kathy (Terry) Potter, Joyce (Criss) Nadolson, Mike (Jana) Milligan, Casey (Sandy) Milligan and Bruce (Beth) Milligan; and her brother Thomas Klingler. She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a multitude of cherished memories that will be forever treasured.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert C. Milligan, parents, Donald and Minnie Klingler; brother, Bob Cowans, and sisters, Carolyn Lindimore, Roberta Eveland, and Patricia Lewis.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville, Ohio. Burial to follow in Iliff Cemetery, Crooksville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron New Life Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

In honoring Betty’s life, her family and friends find comfort in knowing that her spirit continues to grace the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
