Ashley Crista Roberts

Ashley Crista Roberts, age 46, of Newark, passed away on May 4, 2017 at her home. Ashley was born January 24, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio. Ashley was a member of the Christ of Christian Union Church-Freedom Chapel. She loved painting, drawing, singing, dancing and having a good time. She loved to hug and kiss and was loving and sweet.She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Seth) Roberts of Mount Gilead; son, Tyler Roberts of Columbus; granddaughter, Rosalynn Roberts; father, Frederick Crow of Columbus; sister, Diane Lightle of Newark; brother, Sgt. Russell (Brenda) Walker of Ashville; twin sister, Amber Webb (Rick Hardway, Sr.) of Newark; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; adoptive mother, Betty Webb and the Webb family; adopted sister, Leila Whightsel; step-father, Tim Hampton of Newark; many, many friends; and Donald and Deborah Loudermilk of Newark.She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen (Axline) Hampton; and her husband, Leon Stroder Roberts in 2004.A memorial gathering will be held from 4-5 & 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, at The Main Place, 112 South Third Street, Newark, Ohio.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Ashley and her family.
