Arthur Lee Holman

Arthur Lee Holman, Jr., age 67, of Newark, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home. Art was born June 2, 1951 in Newark, Ohio to the late Arthur Lee Holman, Sr. and Lola Loreen (Baker) Holman.

Art was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served his country during Vietnam. He was retired and had been employed in maintenance. Art enjoyed computers, fishing, hunting, his cats and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam (Pettibone) Holman, whom he married December 30, 1988; five children, Ashley Holman, Samantha Holman, Lori (Gary) Garrabrant, Larry (Shannon) Nelson and Lisa (Rick) Frazier; eight grandchildren, Ja’Niyah, Journey, Allie, Derrick, Justin, Ricky, Jr., Jordan and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Landen, Amaya, Cameron, Devan, Jamya, Tianna and Derrick, Jr.; brothers, George “Mike” Holman and Dennis Holman; sister, Melinda Holman; many nieces and nephews; special brother, Mark (Denise) Rose; and good friend, Don Barcus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Pickrel and Sheila Davis; a brother, David Holman; and his beloved cat, Scruffy.

At his request, there will be no service or calling hours observed.
