Armour L. Goodman, a cherished resident of Nashport, Ohio, passed away at Genesis Hospital on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on Monday, September 3rd, 1934, in the quaint community of War Eagle, West Virginia, Armour was a dedicated family man, a proud veteran, and a beloved friend to many.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ora M. Goodman, with whom he shared 36 wonderful years of marriage following their union on February 14, 1989. Armour leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Susan (Martin), Barbara, Armour, Jr., Steven, Angela, Darrell (Krisa), Susie (Danny), and Shirley. He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Barbara Woods and Joanne Goodman, as well as his numerous grandchildren, including Sabrina (Kyle), Holly, Michael, Roy, Amanda, Sabrah (Joey), Summer, Satche, Sierra, Steven, Zach (Katie), Elizabeth, Lexi, Bella, Alexxis, Freyia, Matthew, Tristan, Andrew (Sabrina), Austin and Halie. Armour's family also extends to 21 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Armour was predeceased by his parents, Fletcher and Frances Goodman, and his beloved grandchildren, Dylan and Cheyenne.

For over 25 years, Armour was a dedicated wool packager at Owens-Corning Fiberglas in Newark. His colleagues and friends knew him as a committed and hardworking employee, whose contributions significantly impacted the workplace.

A proud patriot, Armour served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. His military service and sacrifices will be commendably acknowledged by the Licking County Veteran's Alliance through military honors provided at his burial.

In his free time, Armour found joy in woodworking, crafting the beautiful and the functional. He was meticulous in mowing his lawn, finding solace in the simplicity of a well-kept yard. He was a keen fisherman and hunter, along with shooting pool, and he often enjoyed the challenge of tackling Sudoku puzzles. Armour was an avid Bible reader and cherished the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
