Anthony Allen “Tony” King, age 45, of Newark, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Tony was born September 28, 1980 in Newark, Ohio.

Tony enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his kids.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca L. (Pack) King; four children, Makenzie King, Peyton King, Austin Pack, and Clayton Pack; father, Jack Edward King, Sr.; mother, Pamela (Hart) King; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Helen Hart; brothers, Jay (Crissy) King and Billy King; sister, April Schrider; nieces and nephews, Trenton King, Ariana Frick, Michaela King, Christopher Brown, Rachel Brown, and David Brown; cousin, Mark (Angela) Hart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Clara (Mullins) King.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
