Audrey Murray

Adriana Segunda Murray, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence in Pataskala, Ohio. She was born on March 4, 1954, in Carupano, Venezuela, to the late Gustavo and Gladis (Viña) Salazar.

Audrey dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, bringing warmth and comfort to her household. Her passions extended beyond her role at home; she loved to crochet, often crafting intricate patterns with love. In addition, her fondness for yard sales and thrifting led her to many unique finds. Audrey's kitchen was a haven of delicious aromas as she delighted in cooking, especially her renowned casseroles. She would often be found watching videos on YouTube or her favorite mystery shows. She attended the Outville Presbyterian Church.

Audrey is survived by her cherished children, Fabiana (Tony Frazier) Matamoros, Stephanie (Fenn) Jones, and Timothy (Megan) Murray; grandson, Demetri Matamoros; brothers, Wolfgang (Dennis Rankin) Salazar and Gustavo L. Salazar; brother-in-law, Duane (Lisa) Murray; niece, Kelly Wilkin and nephew, Andy Murray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Murray, who passed away on December 7, 2024, and granddaughter, Katarina Matamoros.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Audrey's life at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville, Ohio, on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Audrey's memory may consider donations to The James Cancer and Research Center or Nationwide Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Audrey will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth and love she so generously gave to others throughout her life.
