Aaron Tod Moore

Aaron Tod Moore, age 57, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at his home. Tod was born April 30, 1968 in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles Cecil and Mary Lou (Brush) Moore.

Tod was a 1986 graduate of Newark High School and retired from Brown’s Distributing. He loved to grill and smoke meat. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed golfing and fishing with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Leslie J. (Duff) Moore, whom he married January 24, 2001; sons, Tanner Moore, J.T. Moore, David Mohler, and Tristan Mohler, all of Newark; sister, Kim Moore of Newark; father-in-law, David (Len) Helton of Corbin, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Nanette Kunewa of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Toby) Wine, Crystal (Jimmy) Stidham, and Samantha (Shawn) Sanders, all of Corbin, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Marquita (Dustin), Kiana, Ethan, Tyler, Halia, Kaila, Alana, Anela, Kaili, Gabby, Koa, Charli, and Kyenna.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Moore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

The family will observe a private celebration of Tod’s life.
