Biography

Richard Arlan Napper, 53, of Whitehall, died suddenly Tuesday, March 9, 2010. He was born August 8, 1956 in Coshocton, the son of the late Sherman G. Napper Sr. and Anna Mae (Shuman) Napper. He was a retired concrete worker who loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing poker.
He is survived by his family: his sons Richard (Donna) of Newark, Robert of Johnstown, his daughter Julie of Newark; his siblings Ida Payne (Tony) of Whitehall, James (Barb) of Fredericktown, Barb Whitehead (Raymond) of Summerfield, Fl., Mary Kay Moore (Tom) of Baltimore, Kathy (Ted) Klema of Thornville, Sherman G. Jr. of Summerfield Fl. And April Napper of Key West, Fl.; his former wife Pam of Johnstown, eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at THE HOSKINSON FUNERAL HOME, 285 E. Main St in Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and video tribute are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Steven Shaw as celebrant. Burial will follow at Jersey Cemetery.
