A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Beatrice Jean Griffith, 85,
of Buckeye Lake, will be held Monday, February 8th at 10:00 am at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, with Fr William J Ferguson as celebrant.
Bea died peacefully Wednesday morning, February 3, 2010. at Newark Healthcare
Center following an extended illness. She was born September 11, 1924 in Fabin,Minnesota, the daughter of the late Anna and John Motschendacher. She was a baker and former owner of the Little Dutch Bakery in Buckeye Lake. She is a member of the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra W. Griffith on January 10, 1981.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Sherman(Evelyn) Clay of Hebron, Norma
Pillow of Racine, Mary Dill of Buckeye Lake, Julia (Jack) Schmeitzel of Westerville, and Kathryn Olson of Fargo, N.D.; many great nieces and great nephews; along with brother and sister-in-law Roy and Mildred Griffith.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8th from 8:30 until 9:30 am
